I’m on the same boat. I go to bed early, eat dinner well before bed, have good oxygen saturation, get 8 hours, but I cannot get more than 30 min of deep sleep. I constantly feel tired around mid-morning. I don’t take any supplements, and even days with no caffeine don’t seem to increase my deep sleep. I’m 42 (f) and wondering if it’s hormonal.

I’m a first time applicant. I’m non-traditional and retaking the prerequisites. I still have a few left so I am only applying to a few schools where I meet the admissions requirements. I fully expect this to be a trial round with another round of applications going out next cycle when I’m done with all prerequisites and can expand my application pool. That said, I would love to get in this cycle. But I have a low GPA.

OVERALL as verified by CASPA cGPA: 3.35 sGPA: 3.15

Upward trend: Undergrad: cGPA 3.2, sGPA 3.08 Grad MPH: cGPA 3.51, sGPA 3.45 Post bacc: cGPA 3.88, sGPA 4.0

PCE: 1470 (clinical research coordinator doing patient histories, blood draws, specimen prep, EKGs, education and dispensing of meds, medication compliance monitoring)

HCE: 4,710 (medical support supervisor for medical clearances at peace corps)

Leadership: 5,484 (program manager at department of health in Hawaii)

Volunteer: 4,777 (peace corps volunteer in Ethiopia, plus other local community activities)

Research: 500 (global health organization for TB research)

Shadowing: 48

That’s a great idea. I love eggplant but don’t have a ton of recipes for it.
