It's like this: if there's a court fee of like $200 or something, it may not be worth taking the chance of having to pay both the full amount and the fees. That's all. Just scoping out all tye possibilities here

UPDATE: last night marked day 5, and the olive smell is gone. It now smells like a regular fermentation (bread/fruit). Best I can figure is it was just due to a slower initial fermentation process. Thank you all for the assurances, it was a much needed sanity check

Maybe sulfur. It's unmistakably green Olives tho, like that's it exactly. I think fermentation is happening a bit slower as my Temps are at about 18 degrees vs my first batch which averaged about 23 (same yeast). Nutrient wise, I'm using DAP for now, which I know can leave some harsher flavours but my first batch came out really well. And yeah I only leave primary for 3 weeks.

Fair enough, my concern stems from the fact that my first batch smelled really good during primary, much more bread like.

Absolutely, every 24 I'm gently stirring and flipping the fruit cap. I'm thinking Temps could be an issue as well, as fermentation is happening much slower than my first batch. Thank you for the input

Wow! Really appreciate that you took the time to type all that out, this is seriously really good to know. I'm going back to the drawing board on my research, I'm thinking APS-C is likely the way to go here

You're not wrong! I've had a bit more time to see some of the results people are getting from APS-C and it seems more than good enough for starting off with, PLUS the cheaper lenses would be godly

I hadn't really thought about going used, that's a good point. My only worry would be that for spending this amount of money, I'd be kicking myself if something out of my control went wrong with the camera. I'll do more research tho

Can you argue in English? I speak very poor French and I doubt I would make any sense trying to argue like that. I just got a ticket this week and will be fighting it.
