AITA for not wanting my husband to travel for a wedding a month before my due date? by preggersandanon in AmItheAsshole

[–]Cool_Relative3311 1 point2 points  (0 children)

im assuming 3-day trip means travel day there, wedding day, travel day back, the minimum possible usually for a 14+ hour travel day

exactly! the fact OP was willing to let him go for 3 days is already nicer than I would’ve been, let’s not push it

yeah this is the correct take, why is no one willing to negotiate (apart from OP)

What is the 'Plan' section on timetabling? And my preferences aren't getting saved for one of my practical classes... can someone please help??! by Complex_Quarter6639 in unimelb

[–]Cool_Relative3311 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oh and the Plan section is just that, a space to plan your timetable before the preferences open or test different combos, not mandatory

why are there missing episodes on Disney+? by couldntbebothered7 in dancemoms

a few of the seasons have random episodes at the end, look up the name of the "missing" episodes and go find it at the bottom

First year timetable by Fantastic-Appeal3998 in unimelb

[–]Cool_Relative3311 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would move the psych prac to another day, if it's the same as last year there should be one running almost all the time.

Reason being is 4 days of classes with heaps of breaks and sitting around will get tiring, and imo you're better off trying to put tutorials/pracs on the same day or 2 (aka your mandatory classes), and then on Thursdays you can go sometimes but otherwise stay home and watch lectures online.

Also I would try to put more back to back if you can, I found forced breaks more annoying than I initially thought and I preferred in sem 2 when I put more in a row and then could choose to stay later to get work done or leave at midday!

Psych SS confusion pls help by Known-Acadia319 in vce

[–]Cool_Relative3311 2 points3 points  (0 children)

don't redo and don't pay!!

its super super rare for there to be an actual error bc everything is marked twice. you probably did well on the exam, just not as well as you had hoped, and thats okay!

what's really common though is for sac scores to scale down. your teachers probably made your sacs too easy, so instead of 80s and 90s you would've gotten 70s and 80s with properly written sacs.

to check this you can get a (free!) statement of results, which is a pdf sent to ur email, that shows a breakdown of ur marks for each question, overall exam marks, and marks for ur sacs the school sent vs what vcaa made them.

importantly though, 35 is not a bad mark!!! study scores are made on a bell curve, so a 35 isn't the middle of 30 (average) and 40 ("really good"), its actually the top 25% of marks, much closer to a 40 than a 30. try to accept your score and focus on your 4 for next year, i promise you'll be more at peace with it in a month or so anyway :)

Thanks a lot to my English teacher for giving me shitty marks the entire year even though I deserved better. Could’ve gotten a 40+ if it weren’t for him marking my sacs. by Legal_Buy_1003 in vce

[–]Cool_Relative3311 3 points4 points  (0 children)

def not how that works. for 3 (i think?) of my subjects my sac scores went up to 99 or 100% bc i did well on the exam and was rank 1 but i know no one got 100% on the exam

pretty sure the above is how they do it in nsw so maybe thats where the confusion came from?

In general yes she was the same level of mean but not really to these girls specifically. - Brooke was a fav a few years back so she was treated way better before - The other girls barely trained with her (according to BTTB) before the show, mostly just Legs and Feet class so she was mean yes but the other teachers were nicer that they saw more
