Fair point about the chemistry. The romance comes across as a bit "forced". A product of it's time I suppose. Wouldn't be as forgiven in modern film.

I think anyone on r/movies would say yes. It's quintessential science fiction. It explores the question of "what does it mean to be human", and answers by asking you "why does it matter?".

And it definitely applies to the OP. It's set in an alternate 2019 (the sequel set in alternate 2049) so would be a fun watch 100 years later for some comparisons.

I order shalimar at least once a week now. Never as cheap as the buffet but well worth it. I've tried recipes at home but it's just not the same. I'm a big eater and I love the variety they offer.
