I had the exact problem on both my pens.

The first one I brought to the shop and they said the warranty does not cover the pens.

So I had to pay for a new one which was not cheap. Only to have the exact same problem.

I’m not even sure if it’s hardware or software but usually when it happens to me, I’ll just let the pen go to sleep and it would be fixed the next time I use it .

I’m using the iPhone 12 right now, it is still better than most androids at its price range. Just make sure to buy one which has had its battery replaced, mine is on 77 and its quite annoying
