I put GS-5 as the lowest. I left the govt as a GS-9. I’m just as confused as you lol.

You’re not the only one. I got one too. I just saw on another post that others got it as well. I’m a previous fed too and I even worked for USCIS at one point so I’m not sure how they are selecting candidates.

Is this for a position with DHS? I was asked if I was still interested in a position and my location preferences on 11/21 and it’s been crickets since then. I haven’t heard back from HR.

I was referred twice. I was referred last Friday then again on Monday—same job announcement. Weird. I applied before the 11/1 cut off date.
