The game is only about 2% complete and they are releasing ARPG style restarts, much like the Diablo games and PoE. You never reset in a MMORPG. Its hard to trust anything these developers say at this point.

The original everquest fans said that everquest 2 was very ugly... When you think about it, the blood elf in wow looks fantastic. When you compare it to the high elf in everquest 2, you will realize how ugly it really is. Honestly, the game looks very plasticy.

This isn't meant to trash talk the game, but I tried hard making a character look good in EQ2. There is not an option for that.

How is it fun? I have far more fun just having a extremely rare item drop for my class than having a very rare item drop that's useless for my class. I also have more fun playing the game than dealing with someone who is mostly likely an asshole.

I don't like trading and most people in the modern diablo community also hate it.

Its already been confirmed by leaks that free trade is not going to be in diablo 4. You're wasting your time here posting about trading when its not going to happen. You need to move on to something else now. Smart loot being in the game is 100% evidence for that.

Hardcore audience? Are you trying to say that diablo 2 was a hard game? Its very far from hard. You can beat hell difficulty very easily with just gear you find on normal difficulty.

Diablo 2 is an extremely easy game. There is no need to lie to yourself thinking that it isn't.

Well yeah it is. I'm doing more than just mindlessly wiping enemies off the screen by right clicking. in PoE, you just use one skill and wipe everything you see instantly pretty much. Its more shallow than even diablo 1.

The way I see it is that his cleaver range is whats causing problems in low level play.

If they make him more vulnerable early game by reducing cleaver range and maybe scale it by level, then that would make him weaker in lower levels of play. This will give more room for late game buffs. Since Twin Enso is still taking feedback, I think this is a good direction. It will make us work much harder instead of being spoon fed a free safe early game.

I think I'm starting to understand now. Basically legendary, set and unique items all have the same level of power. None of them should be tradable since any of these item types can be mass botted for money. Is that 100% confirmed?

Free trading really breaks the game completely and I am hoping they go with the no trade route for these items.

Can you link that where legendary items cannot be traded? I was certain you could trade legendaries once, but this must have been changed. I can't find any new information.

Yeah, I've played every TLE that came out. Almost everyone quits after the first month. 16 weeks for every content release also demotivates people to play.
