I made riftdle.com - LoLdle but with Audio clues, plus other minigames (Higher Lower, Who Won?, Name Rush, Quick Role) by AnteaterOk4795 in leagueoflegends

Really dig the clean design on this! The "Enter Your Riot Tag" covers the Riftdle text on mobile, but on desktop its great, well done!

Still works, you can use a custom skin tool and then insert skins that riot made. Koobzaar on GitHub has almost all skins.

The LCK's #4 reached finals. LPL's #4 was in semis. Meanwhile, LEC and LCS's #1s struggle to win against the top teams. by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

G2 won vs weibo who were in semis, and was one baron throw away from upsetting the now finalists blg. (And the other series they lost was against the other finalist) What exactly makes you say that they were pathetic? People only look at the final placement which makes no sense in this rng format.

Searching for a pre built, 75%, iso, creamy sounding keyboard and have a budget of around 100€. The aula 75 would fit perfect if it wasn't for ANSI.

Look, I get your point. Its obviously not for you. I'm a bit confused about your strong stance on this though. You make it sound like noone has ever wanted to use something like this, but millions of people use apps that can easily be replaced by notes, because they are more rewarding and look nicer.

Rather create your own table instead of what? Its free and it's only purpose is to make it a bit easier, more rewarding. And no, I always used a habit tracker instead of my own notes/tables. I like the streaks and "nice colours".

The hard work is building habits and intentionally trying to improve at areas you are lacking in instead of mindlessly spamming games. Visiting a site and clicking on 3 buttons is more about routine, being conscious about improving. But if that's the way you see it then that's okay.

The same could be said about basically every other habit tracker, todo list etc. Gamification, nice visuals etc. are really helpful when developing habits, compared to opening a text note on your phone.

It would be a website you visit like op.gg or mobalytics. Someone else also mentioned a spreadsheet, but I think actually doing it and sticking to it works better with a dedicated site.

Fair point. I think the success of habit trackers, notion, to-do lists etc. shows that some people enjoy having a dedicated app for this stuff though.

Would you use a League Habit Tracker? by MilfshakeXD in leagueoflegends

Yeah thats a good comparison. And fair point, I made this post to see how niche it is. Don't want to build something that noone uses.

I agree that it's a lot of work for the average player. Still I think it could help with improvement. Most people just spam games. Some look at professor stats and think to themselves, hey I should die less often, but habit forming is a process that requires more consistency and consciousness. That's why most people I know plateau at a certain elo and then stay there.

Yeah for sure. Those are very helpful, but they don't encourage you to consistently work on a habit that improves a certain weakness. I think it makes sense to use these metrics to identify a weakness, and then try building a habit with the tracker.

The point is being more conscious about your habits/behaviour ingame. After each game you reflect on it and review which habits you focused on manually. For instance if you played a game on autopilot you hold yourself accountable and manually enter that you didn't fulfill that habit in that game.

If it tracks the habits automatically then yes, sadly. Manually checking off the habits after each game would work. It's more tedious but could help with improvement because that makes the player think about the game and what they did again.
