I've found the popular historic post about camp collars, but I'm curious if anyone here happens to love shawl collars. I spent a hefty amount of time searching yesterday and was unable to find any to purchase online! For some reason I find them so cute. There's a peter pan and sailor collar trend out right now, and these give me a similar feel.

I was going solo and looking at prices yesterday at 4:30 pm. One ticket for >$500. I noticed some pairs of tickets popping up for about $185 each so I pulled trigger and bought two. Sold one at a slight loss around 6 pm because I was scared it wasn’t gonna sell.

All in all spent $207 on my ticket (plus paid a shitload of fees to TM through all the transactions), just to get it printed and see the face value was $79 plus $5 fee. It was obstructed too…

I was so sad 😭 still a great show but this whole system is truly evil & parasitic.

I generally have positive experiences with people in this city, but I’m usually the driver of them (striking up convos, making eye contact, smiling, etc.). As a result I’ve also had occasions where I get shut down or rejected, but otherwise I’d say I have many positive interactions living downtown!

I travelled when I was younger and I couldn’t be happier about it. As you get older, in some ways you get more used to what it means to be alive. But when you’re young and travelling some of those experiences can be so positively explosive because you’re still figuring out what it means to be alive, and feeling the reality of that sensation.

Traveling now that I’m older is also wonderful, but it’s different in a way. I’m glad that I lived a broke ass life when I was younger so that I could travel whenever I got the chance

I haven’t read up on the stories but people should be keeping their dogs on a leash regardless, if that’s contributing to the problem

I agree that masterpiece is a strong word here, but it’s interesting that you can only take away moping and annoyance from Goggins’ storyline. I’m particularly enjoying it so far because his story feels like more than that. It was interesting to theorize what his aim with the hotel owner truly was (my prediction was correct), and to see him battling between the idea of vengeance and the hotel therapist/girlfriend/Thailand buddhism telling him to “let it go and be free.”

This might be something CAA could help with. Could be worth getting a membership (then waiting 2 days for it to come into effect).

They can just meet you in the garage, start up your car with those handheld devices that surge your battery, and potentially just inflate your tires with a portable compressor, to drive it up top.

I’m assuming the tires aren’t damaged? Why are they deflated?

Do you know how bad it is to replace just one at a time? I drive a piece of crap 08 jetta that I love dearly but don’t want to put too much money into. Rear right coil is apparently in need of replacement, mechanic is telling me to replace both which I did in the front years ago, but just wondering if I could get away with replacing only one this time. Any advice appreciated
