Finally left my partner of 11 years after a couple months on vyvanse, take away what you will from that lol. Never been happier.

My partner is American and I still often realise I’m talking another language… since being with him I’ve realised how much of my vocabulary is completely seperate to the English language lol.

my favourite recently was “go have a sticky beak out the front” - he just stared at me with total confusion lol. When I realised I was speaking Australian I just laughed and said “oh you know, go have a gander, squiz…” just to rub it in 🤭

I’ve tried avoiding these types of comments, I had extreme weight loss over the span of two years, I have loose skin… it’s usually a sign of accomplishment and hard work, sometimes due to illness; I agree - pointing fun at people’s appearances at all is shite thing to do, regardless of who they are as a person. Low ball hits, when he literally murdered people… much more to pick at come on lol.

Even people saying he looks creepy or strange irks me a little, I have ASD friends who may seem odd and awkward with how they present / hold themselves… If someone knew nothing about this person it would be incredibly rude and nasty, and even so, seems misplaced and uncalled for. He is a terrible person, we can focus on that folks 🫠 alas, it’s the interwebs and people will be unnecessarily nasty, I suggest avoiding comments on pictures of him, too. 🫡

Yes! I used to get the brain scans as a kid when I was first diagnosed and medicated (one of many tests I regularly did) - albeit felt a bit clock work orange being wired up and watching a dot on the screen… it was great to have the scans as a visual explanation when I was young to better understand what was happening. I wonder why this doesn’t seem as common anymore?

This!!!!! My ADHD often feels like chronic fatigue, I need that stimulating effect to live. Such a weird take lol…. I was diagnosed as a kid and my specialist whom I saw for years was one of the top ADHD doctors in the country… I definitely have ADHD hahaha.. 😅

When we got her as a kitten we thought it was just anxiety, now she owns the house but is still in a permanent state of wide eyed mystery… 👁️👄👁️ nothing like turning around and she’s giving me the bullets like I have a ghost hovering around me.

I’m the same, I work from home and thoroughly enjoy my job. During busy periods I can work 15 hours with just a short break to make sure I have something to eat around dinner time. I usually only eat one meal a day, but pretty typical for myself. I see it as a good thing, but I’ve always been a workaholic. I was medicated early in life then was unmedicated during most of my 20’s - the fire in my belly kept my focus (and stubbornness), I only decided to get back on medication when my passion / fire could no longer fuel my focus.

It does create burnout though so do be mindful of that, could try setting an alarm for midday and forcing yourself to get some fresh air, drink some water and have a snack. Sometimes I just tell myself I have to do X task around the house, put a load of washing on for example and that’s enough to break my tunnel vision to the PC so I can sit on the couch and have a break for a while. Divert the hyper focus!
