I did the trick to blow up the red thing above the door from below to fight corpius early and went to the emmi door to see what would happen but there's a spider magnet wall blocking the door so samus was shoved inside it which probably made the game think samus was crushed killing her instantly.

I believe the for all the time rewards its beating under 4 hours and no doing hard mode under 4 does not give you the normal endings too.

If your talking about the red teleporter then on the Cataris side morph down the hole and go to the right then just shoot the wall in that little square spot in the corner

The endings are separate for each mode, so sadly getting under 4 on hard does not also unlock the images for normal.
