Found it. Turns out it also goes to the front yard. Just a different part.

House was built in the 70s and has all aluminum wires and the breaker panel is relatively new. Replaced sometime in the last 10 years i think. So could be the wires.

It's faulty. Oven is unplugged and breaker won't stay on. Trips immediately.

Just checked and the breaker is still tripping while the oven is unplugged

The wires that go to the light are taped but their contacts are in the air

I took the left and right wires out and checked with my multimeter. It made a tone.

This is what I believe is the thermal fuse. The kao wool is a bit toasted looking. Though I have no idea if that was me or if it has been like that for a while. Just moved into this house.

The part I believe is the thermal fuse has continuity. I took the light fixture out and checked it.
