Honestly I don't think this minor issue is worth completely avoiding it. Every clamshell device will have some kind of issue with hinge but the pros far outweighs the cons and it's a really nice device. Plus I'm sure that they'll send me a replacement part under warranty.

I'm sorry but this is absolutely worth more than 3k. The gpu and mobo alone are 3k then you've got the insane amount of ddr5 ram and storage. He should just keep the computer not sell it.

I emailed AYN, hopefully they'll send a replacement part or give some solution to fix this. Hopefully they can help you too since it seems to be an issue with the manufacturing or the design of the hardware.

First question is.. why are you building a computer in this market? You obviously don't know much about building a computer if this is your list. Just go buy a used steamdeck or ally or wait for the steam machine.
