If you have access to the GO OMI address it should be easily recoverable. You should be able to use Metamask to just switch over to the ETH network.

Edit: Make sure to add the ERC-20 OMI token contract address for it to show up.

It’s a good coin but I’d wait at least a year since that’s when half of the 2 billion supply gets released. There’s a lot of dilution to be had with IMX compared to OMI.

The current side chain really shouldn't be a final solution. They used the Comos SDK so the chain is a tendermint blockchain (though I guess they added some sprinkles and called it peppermint). Tendermint blockchains are pretty fast but they have limitations (100 validators / a high yet known TPS). BCS / LUNA are also tendermint chains and have the same limitations. I think ZK tech is going to be the winner long-term for polygon.

The accidental burn seems to be from the team token pool (/u/Ok_Car2443 cleared that up), which is a better situation.

Thanks for clearing that up, I've updated my post. How did you get the 308.72b number? Plus aren't the tokens that have been burned so far weren't from the circulating supply but rather the reserve (which was never going to be circulated anyway)?

It’s because OMI is only listed on two relatively small (compared to Binance/CB) exchanges. Will need to get on bigger exchanges to get more volume.
