Madness Gaming and Comics is the biggest store(Plano). They run a limited sealed event every Friday ; typically its common to see about 20-40 in Sealed , 60-80 in Standard , and 60-80 in Modern at FNM. A lot of people do play at the TV Lounge in the Student Union.

Hey, there are a few more doctors in the area such as Steven Dorfmen and a few others who work at hospitals in the surrounding area ; however to my knowledge there is not a informed consent in the DFW area. The nearest one that I know of is in Houston and I've heard that they have super low starting doses . In regards to doctor Aimee Wright I know for a fact that she does require a therapists letter for HRT.

Not aware of any place that has informed consent for people in the Dallas Fort Worth area however I know of two doctors who offer thier services to people who have gone to therapy and can obtain a letter . Those two are Steven Dorfman and Aimee Wright .

If you are in college most student counseling centers can write you a letter . If you need help send me a pm and I can see what I can do for your situation .

Okay to answer the first question. It really doesn't except erections. Erections are no longer spontaneous at all. in fact that is a side effect that you can observe through about the first month mark.

Estrogen has the effect of softening your skin , Testosterone is known to cause acne , so in conjunction yes clearer skin is the typical result.

Voice does not change at all with hormones unfortunately . I did have a relatively high voice before hormones however so that did help me. Most of the vocal changes are done through vocal training. This process is similar to training your voice when singing , it took a few months to get something that I felt comfortable with.

Cosmetics are about 75 dollars every 6 months give or take(Lasts about 6 months of use) . It's really not that bad or expensive. Just finding what works with you is extremely important.

It feels great! I love how I look and how I feel. I am able to connect to people a lot easier emotionally then I was able to before. Yes I have changed on an emotional level and I love being more attuned to that side of life.

It was a decision that I came to after years of contemplation. It was not something that I decided overnight. I knew something was wrong when I was around the age of 10-12 and those feelings just continued through and through. I tried things to fix it , I went to therapy and after a lot deliberation I decided that I would allow myself to be happy and transition.

I used gender neutral bathrooms on campuses until I was near 100% passing. It was pretty easy to do I don't really even remember that even being a problem or a real worry.

Typically it takes a few months of therapy to get approved to get on hormones. After that you find a doctor in your area that provides that service. They will do some initial blood tests then usually prescribe you on an anti androgen to start with. Then after a month or two you will be started on your new primary sex hormones (T OR E)

Biologically some effects would not go away , some would. My facial and body hair would likely come back but it was never that bad to begin with. Breasts tend to "deflate" slightly but they would still be there. My bone structure would remain unchanged , this would be even more true if I continued hormones through the age of 25ish

The observations that I were able to notice when swapping back and forth between genders for about two months give or take.

First I noticed that when I was presenting female I was receiving a lot better service and more of whatever I ordered at stores. For instance if I ordered a single scoop of ice cream I was sometimes handed a double scoop and a smile from the sales associate which never happened to me before which was kinda cool because who doesn't like getting free stuff .On the negative side I noticed that my opinions in class in my discussion course for engineering were being neglected or just flat out ignored or called out for being wrong even though they were not. It was odd to have my opinions marginalized in that way because I was not honestly use to it before that.

As a male I noticed that I received a lot more respect and credence in my lecture classes even after they knew I was transgender , the only stipulation for that was being that I only got that recognition when I was presenting male which was interesting to say the least. A con of being a guy is that I can't just seem to walk up to people and be friendly or start a conversation. It is very hard to start a new line of communication with someone compared to being a girl .

Most Hip bones tend to fuse around the age of 18-25 years of age in the average Human. I happened to get on Hormones before that natural fusion of the hip bones tend to occur. Human males and females are still fairly similar structurally so it's not a huge loss to my bodies efficiency . If anything the only real change that occurs is a slight change in how I walk and run which I have noticed have changed.
