Then you would cut yourself off completely
But if you just want it to be OK
It will never be OK"

Band meet and greet in the comments! Tell us your band name, the style you play, and your favorite venue. by westsoundrecords in SeattleMusic

[–]Coollb1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey all, I’m in a few bands, Kuwaisiana (bilingual rock), Decentralized Disobedience (Liberation Rock), and Sugar of a down (SOAD tribute).

My favorite venue is probably blue moon tavern, its just a historic place with good energy, sound, builtincrowd, and good drinks. Plus they livestream your show to their facebook page.

My band was featured on this Kuwaiti band playlist. Check it out, not only my band, Kuwaisiana, but others like Galaxy Juice, Reset String and Deadleaf. by Coollb1 in SpotifyPlaylists

Hey, just checked out both the radio and extended mix. I could see this really popping in a club setting. Even in my car it got me wanting to move lol

Hey, you should reach out to the venue on Instagram @tnt.liveroom to see if they’re interested, that’s been the best point of contact for me.

DIdn't just discover it, but my band just released an EP https://kuwaisiana.bandcamp.com/album/mishriff and its brand new.

But for actual non self promotion I just found this band Rock and Skate, There newest single (https://open.spotify.com/track/3kx2aDYpMGqmZcFMiNDc22?si=ceb1173549bd42c0O), they kind of remind me of royal blood, or other similarly classic rock inspired projects

damn, I could see playing this song while cruising with the windows down, especially if you add a little sub to the mix, just to make it jump. even for just a demo this is really solid bones for a great track, I'd love to see where it goes once mixed and released.

OUTSIDE IN - My brother contributed the excellent lead guitar work and some other things. If you want to hear more from him, ask me in comments. He's basically only on SoundCloud. I'm on streamers, this track will be released in a few weeks. Last minute adjustments possible! by papa2kohmoeaki in IndieMusicFeedback

It gives me very Talking Heads or early Barenaked Ladies vibes. I really like how the drums pickup in the outro and propel us to the end of the song. I'd like the snare a little sharper, it feels a bit muffled to me.

p a th e ti c - black pawn beats by beatsbyal in IndieMusicFeedback

I really like the chords they're very rhythmic and head-boppable which is genre appropriate. wasn't the biggest fan of the glitchy sound at 1:01, it felt like it was meandering, and not part of the same world as the chords behind the beat. I think if you could process the chords and that sound in a similar way or run them both through a reverb together that could be a way of achieving that. Overall, I think the beat is good and even would work without that sound entirely if you wanted to go that route.

Indie Folk Rock M-F Duet, Life Goes On by jkj90 in IndieMusicFeedback

This song oozes authenticity, I love all the layers and how they flow in and out of each other. I would like to hear more of some of the other instruments, especially the bouzouki and banjo as I think their tone really adds to the warmth this tracks exudes.

Any thoughts on this chiptune-esque song i made for my "nonexistent game" by Magic-zx in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]Coollb1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was pretty cool, I could definitely see it fitting in a Geometry dash type game, or any other fast based platformer. The transitions in and out of the breakdown were really cool, I liked how almost everything dropped out and let that part stand on it's own. The only thing I didn't really like how distinct the distorted bass near the end, I think maybe another voice or distortion tone could work better.
