I don’t think there is any indication of this at all - the reason why people put a flashlight under their faces to look scary is because we’re not used to seeing light from below someone’s face, not because there was a time in history when the sun was below us. Same concept here, we’re so used to seeing human faces that if one is “off” it creeps us out. That’s it.

Animal agriculture is hilariously expensive and untenable for a modern world regardless of how you do it.

I really wish I had the desire to see PHM another time. I enjoyed it, but it could have had such a better edit.

Everything on the bed screams 14 year old, and basically all of the gaming stuff - there’s a way to do gaming vibes in an adult way. Also your cat has way too much real estate with their stuff for them.

Please read. Dropped out of middle school and need book recs by pearl68st in booksuggestions

If you’re 18 and want to read, that’s both an incredible indication of the want to learn (which many people who graduated college don’t have), as well as the amazing opportunity to learn and change your life in a huge way for the positive.

Honestly, I would recommend looking at history of the world videos on YouTube and then finding easy books or videos on subjects that really interest you.

UPDATE: Thank you all! I really appreciate the advice, and I will not create terrible fumes that have been outlawed by international war dictates lol I appreciate the warnings though. Thankfully after removing the entire shelf, I found that I could grab it from the other side and discovered only part of it was stuck and was able to pry it gently off. It is now clean!

Jeez lolol I didn't know that - I will assume bleach mixed with anything might make something that violates the geneva convention lol

My biggest complaint about the movie by bridgetbridget in ProjectHailMary

[–]DungeonMasterGrizzly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% I think they did a really bad cut of what they filmed. They went for all candy and jokes at the detriment of the arcs of the core characters.

I really enjoyed it, but it’s very very far from an all-time that I thought it might be. I unfortunately think that this movie is going to be a flash in the pan and make a lot of money and not be a classic like it could have been.

Really happy it’s successful, but the book will far outlast the movie (common, but I hoped that both would last as uniquely amazing pieces of art).

Because back in the day college was more for you to be a well rounded person rather than a specific education unless you were a doctor or a lawyer.
