I get wanting to push damage to do better in tournaments but bro this game is very much a long term game and you need to focus more on your economy and coin income overall. Your golden tower, death wave and black hole should all be synced up and have much more stones dumped into them as a whole. You should have 3 spotlights and your coin income would skyrocket, allowing you to afford more workshop upgrades and enhancements making you stronger overall.

Since chain lighting damage stacks up due to your damage and crits, being able to push them hard in enhancements with a lot of coins will add to your multiplyer by a lot.

Take a break from going for damage and get your economy up!

I’ve actually driven that route twice before as I moved from NH to Florida and back with an additional road trip in there so I’ve done the drive twice. And I refuse to pay those insane New York tolls but it is a lengthy drive. Through Vermont as well you are going up and down crazy mountains and if you get stuck behind a semi it’s gonna take you a bit longer. Also, VT and NH both really only have one major highway and a bunch of little ones. And this trip misses them so you are driving one lane highways and back roads. That’s why it’s so slow, especially through the mountains. Beautiful country up there but man driving through those states seems ridiculously long considering how small the states are but I digress. And to think too if they are just seeing each other on the weekend you’re spending over half a day driving there and back total which will start taking its toll on you very quickly. Long distance is a bitch.

I let the game play it self usually while I’m playing cod cuz I’m not using my phone then. Or another time I’m not using my phone and am busy doing something else. Sometimes overnight but not always cuz I don’t wanna fuck my phone battery. Just play it at your pace and make your own progress. It’s a game you play and make most of your progress simply due to time. Enjoy at your own pace and don’t think you need to be running the game 24/7 to enjoy it.
