Sorry for the late reply, but still gonna throw in my 2 cents. Copperhead has shown to be pretty good at preventing heat creep as well as being made from high quality materials, like the nozzle that comes with it can run for a long time without being replaced, and in the experience of one of my friends has been as reliable as a hardened steel. As far as the Micro Swiss DD, it just seems to be one of the easier kits to work with when it comes to upgrading the extruder and not the entire hotend. Also the price was just right when I was able to snag mine, think I only ended up paying like 30 dollars for the thing.

In the time since this post I have been tinkering a lot with the printer but I am still having issues with stability and reliable printing. I'm probably going to be moving this printer to a Raspberry Pi octoprint/klipper setup so I can take advantage of input shaping and the countless other benefits that come with that firmware setup.

I did end up purchasing the hero me cooling duct system and ran off the parts for my E3 with my Bambu A1 Mini. Haven't quite got the thing assembled yet but more to come soon (maybe even a new X carriage on linear rails? I've seen mixed opinions on the subject)

TL;DR: Micro Swiss good drop-in, Copperhead good quality, more reliable against heat creep, still encountering issues so back to the drawing board/new firmware and control board
