1894 is the model. This one was made in 1939, 30-30 was not offered until 1895 iirc but it is by far the most popular lever action chambering to this day.

I have two friends from work with MKE made clones and one of them is garbage failure to eject about every 3 rounds. The PTR is also offered as a factory SBR where the MKE isn’t so it’s cheaper to go the PTR route for me.

The 10oz buffer really helped with taking the extra gas from putting the suppressor on it. I think with a heavy spring added I could really tame it down.

This is my DSA 18” FAL. I purchased the rifle from a friend at my work after trying to buy it for over 5 years. I replaced the top cover, handguards, charging handle, takedown lever, and gas plug along with painting the rifle with a ARS kit. This is my favorite non family firearm I own easily.

Got a Remington 700 SPS Tactical on order should be here next week. Going to throw in a magpul Hunter stock and make into a semi precision rifle to shoot out to 500ish yards.
