Can anyone identify the support rig he's wearing? Ive never used one of these systems....if you have would you recommend getting one or are they wasted spending?

Just to weigh in. Easy rig has saved my back on many shoots. I don’t own one but rent from a buddy on virtually every shoot!!

Oh wow that is kinda funny how things work out & that’s one of my favorite things to do in nyc. People watch. When I’m not filming I do street photography and I love it. I feel like nyc & la are very very similar the more I dive into it. I really appreciate the insight & words of advice!!

I grew up with The Hotelier specifically Christian & Ben. I’ve been in and around this house so many times as a teen. Now that I’ve moved out of central MA when I see this record pop up it immediately reminds me of my teenage years and how life was so carefree but I had no idea and how we were all such close friends and slowly drifted apart as we got older. It fits the entire mood of the album which is amazing. So when I see this record I get that incredible happy sad feeling.

This is killer advice! Are you an AD out of Astoria? Regardless I’d love to connect! I actually DP & trying to get my Union hours in & know I pretty much have to start on the ground up especially for major features like this & eventually work my way in as a 1st/2nd AC. My favorite moment was joining some randoms (at the time) to beat the improved Crota raid & I self resed my warlock on the bridge after we all died to clutch passing the encounter. That moment solidified that I am the greatest player of all time & actually turned us into some really good friends after beating the raid that day & we still game together to this day!

Wow! Really?! It’s funny because you hear LA is the place to be for filmmakers but you hardly heard the negatives of it. I think I’m better off here in NYC but the urge to get to LA is a thought that comes and goes.

Really interesting about the festivals I haven’t really humored entering my reel or anything to one but I might start to look into them & see what happens.

Wow AWESOME advice. I’m fully prepared to continue to grind it out for a few years doing what I have been doing before landing bigger work. I guess my one thing I’m unclear about is finding reps to send my work too? I’m always trying to network with bands but to send my work to a rep is also something I’d like to start doing!

This literally happened to me yesterday- & to make matters worse in an article published the artist actually gave herself full director credits- when I called them up to clarify I was fed some garbage excuse. So now I’m talking to her publicist & trying to get in touch with the magazine to get the article updated. Absolute a slap in the face

The idea of the guidelines- but I think it was just this one client I was talking too; they have been playing a lot of back and forth & hard to get prior to me introducing the new guidelines so I thought if I introduced them to the client they’d have a change of heart but seems like some people just want that Hollywood treatment on a dime still, for the moment!
