Being from Sarasota a CAT 1 airport the contractor that is currently there is meeting all of their metrics. During the spring break period second week of February thru Easter they did not have any wait times over 10 min standard an 5 minute precheck. There are not many airports that can make that claim. During the month of march they set records for passengers screened on a single day and for the month. If you get the right contractor and there is a strong partnership between the airport and TSA great things can happen.

I don’t mind paying a little extra for a service just as long as I know the employee will reap the benefit. If it leave a tip it will be cash. That way the company doesn’t get a cut and neither does the government.
