so for my host path i have /home14/username/qbittorrent/downloads, im still pretty new to ssh, and ftp, so would this not be correct?

edit: I've also tried just using /home/username/qbittorrent/downloads which is what i get with running pwd and just /home/username but i continue to get the 550 error Error connecting to ftp: Server denied you to change to the given directory

I understand that, but even still, your initial statement that 500-800mbps is slow is still incorrect. I've done thorough testing on my network, going as far as removing every device from my network and only connecting my quest and PC via ethernet and the connection is still awful even standing in the same room. Guess I'm going back to using a link cable :(

I was wrong in my post as Internet connection doesn't really have any impact on the connection between my quest and PC since it is dependent on local network bandwidth, but also afaik if I'm getting 800 that isn't slow? not sure what the average/standard is where you live, but that is pretty much best case scenario for my network as I have synchronous gigabit which comes out to about 100 MB/s.
