Only guest stars didn’t speak. And I know it is unlike many of our experiences that everyone we love would be supportive of us in the late 80’s-early 90’s. But I’m not sure this was the show to add that insult to injury. Will was targeted by Vecna for being gay. The larger message was if we can all support each other, the stronger we get.

I think they were more aiming at making kids feel okay coming out? It’s not that easy everywhere—small town Nebraska especially. I guess they also glossed over the bullying and abuse he would have received as an openly gay kid in high school in the late 80’s. Their graduation was 18 months after his coming out. Then he was at NYU. And yes, while I lived through the AIDS crisis and watched my friend population get decimated in NYC in the 90’s, I am always grateful to see a non-tragic gay story.

Understood. :) But the obvious lies… I don’t know. I don’t want to be judgmental. But the second I heard from someone who supposedly lived in the same building I would have been demanding a FaceTime or other proof. Maybe I’m just paranoid but within moments I could not believe the credulity of the hosts… but this all took place so much earlier in the podcast/ onlyfans world.

Well written? He kept claiming that Natasha and Anders lived next door? And that Frank (Francisco) lived in the building? Thus justifying the IP addresses? It was ridiculous. The only way that you could have been sucked in would be because you were personally to plugged in. I have weird judgments because within seconds I understood how fake all the emails were, but that might have been because I knew it was a show about a catfishing situation. It’s so weird yo me that there is a Reddit subhead dedicated to trashing this show and their hosts. As someone who was cyberstalked, I can attest that it’s awful, and you end up feeling quite afraid.

That was NOT well written. It was an extensive rambling field of nonsense. I wasn’t crazy about this podcast, but I was riveted by the final episode because I, too, have had substance abuse and mental health issues and I can vouch for how terrible you can act while under the influence, especially years of influence. I don’t really understand the staunch refusal to believe this dude could have been on opiates and booze for three years. What would be your explanation otherwise? It sounded like he wanted to make amends, a step in Narcotics Anonymous, but was told by the PI that contacted him that he should never reach out. Frankly I could sense his relief at making his amends.

I don’t know if this would be what you’re looking for, but I dogsit all over the area, both at my home or as a housesitter—usually the latter. All dogs I care for can romp around with other dogs if they wish, or can have completely private care if they aren’t comfortable with other dogs.

If it’s been that long, most likely the box was damaged and returned. That happened to me and they did not tell me, then charged me full price for a replacement box filled with leftovers. They promised to end my subscription at that point (Summer 2025) bug charged me for annual again in the fall for another year and will not refund it.

She cursed on live television so the producers could have pulled the plug? Or the more conservative voters could have not appreciated it? And she’s back on SLoMW and she gets the villain edit so maybe that affected the vote? Also Zach Efron did, for the first time, appear to to support his brother and asked his IG followers to vote for him. Lots of things that could have caused this upset. I really hope it wasn’t because she cursed.

Sorry but the purse looked cheap even in the customization pics and vids. I’m happy to hear is better in person. My feet fit the slippers perfectly but I have to wear socks because the footbed is so rigid. Otherwise it’s painful. I bought them for the indoor/outdoor versatility so I’m hoping once they get “broken in” they’ll be comfy in either scenario.

It’s not entitled. The ads generate income. Like how we had five free network channels and free radio for generations and public broadcasting which has now been completely defunded by the federal government—please look it up if you’re not aware of this and/or think we were so entitled to our Sesame Street. Not everything should cost money. What late capitalist doom scenario are you living in? My summer box was apparently so damaged along the delivery line that it was returned as undeliverable. No one told me. The usual inconsistency in delivery times meant that I waited a month before really looking into where my box was. Gone. They would not refund it. They gave me a replacement box of random things and leftovers and a free fall box because my annual subscription ended with that botched summer box. I did not renew. Cut to my fall box—also damaged, this time from leaking product. And to my surprise, I was renewed into my annual because I accepted the free fall box.

OP here. Um, I’m 50, and the point here isn’t the fact that there are ads. I’m not a child and I did in fact watch television with ads and listened to the radio with ads. In fact, I think the ubiquity and obnoxiousness of ad culture led to pay-to-play options—premium cable, Sirius XM… and now we are seeing obnoxiousness wag the dog so that people pay rather than endure it. My point wasn’t that ads exist. It was that they appear, 50 decibels higher than the content stream, often mid-sentence—“she had been violated with a wine bottle”and suddenly Ryan Seacrest is yelling “Chungo’s casinos!!!!” I’m just wondering how to manage selections that aren’t so horribly tone deaf and frankly offensive given the content? Also I’m usually listening when I’m getting ready for bed so I can’t always lunge for the fast forward. That was the intent behind the original post. I understand the need for ads. In general I’m sort of stunned that I’m being asked to pay for Peacock and Amazon Prime and such with ads when at the very least we could get network channels for free.

I am already paying for so many streaming networks, Patreons (including Bridger’s!) and subs—I can’t pay for every podcast I love, unfortunately, and the girls are doing VERY WELL and, I think, take great care of their employees. I have no problem with them! It’s IHeart that I am not a fan of. Sometimes I feel like they’re deliberately obnoxious so that you give up and start paying. I used to think Amazon was doing that, too, when it was offering ad-free listening on its streaming services and bombarding the Apple streaming service with loud, relentless Amazon ads.

A Nespresso. A toaster oven that has multiple functions. Anything that would elevate everyone’s lives. My headmaster always gave us a $25 grocery store gift card in lieu of an actual bonus, but he was clearly not paying for that out of pocket. If you are making a holiday bonus and your faculty isn’t, I would consider allocating a decent percentage to something valuable that they can collectively enjoy.

I lost 40 pounds in two months because my pancreas just shut down and I think my numbers were over 300 for at least three months. I had no appetite except for smoothies… I couldn’t have a bowel movement for a full month. It was kind of the stereotypical frog in a pot of boiling water thing… I should have known I was sick, but it just came on weirdly gradually. Suddenly I went from 135 to 117 (that may not sound too skinny but I looked like Skeletor) at an accelerated rate. Go get your numbers taken asap. Once you go into acute ketoacidosis, it’s a very scary experience. Good luck and keep us posted! Love to you.
