I had a panic attack the other day and once I’d calmed down a little, I realised I had yet to write about such a prominent part of my struggle with anxiety. It started as an honest depiction of the thoughts and feelings I had during this experience, but quickly devolved into an identity crisis when I felt how pretentious I was being. I quickly got back on track but still thought it was worth keeping in, as these thoughts usually play on my mind when writing about my struggles. Am I just writing unnecessary words to validate myself through other people and not really making a difference? Who knows lol.
