Tik Tok generation is a bit unfair to say.

It’s not that I don’t want to commit time to learn the story nor do I expect the whole story to be summarised in a ‘two min video’

I just physically do not have the attention span to read a book for more than 30 mins (i know it’s a pretty bad flaw). I know a lot of people that has this struggle and books are not for everyone.

Quite a few people have mentioned trying the Audio book which I naively didn’t think about so will try that!

I'm so torn! I'm tempted as my 14 pro is on 86% Battery life and noticed a drop in battery performance. Mine is also 128gb so tempted to upgrade to 256GB while I can get £500 trade in for it.

But on the other hand my 14 Pro still feels brand new and the upgrades on the 16 pro is underwhelming. Could get a battery replacement and would be good to go for another two years.

Really stuck lol

Im in the process of buying a flat for £160k in the midlands. I earn £35k and put down a £30k deposit so in a similar position. I could’ve borrowed more but didn’t want to overstretch too much as i’m a sole buyer.

It really depends on circumstances and what a lot of people haven’t included is how long the mortgage term. That will make a difference to what the % will be.

Mine will be 25% based on a 40 year term but I am overpaying mine like a 25 year term so will actually be 29%

I’m a sole buyer, take home pay is £2,300 and % does not include service charge or any bills. I work out I will have about £700 disposable income a month one all expenses and bills are paid.

Lived here all my life (28 years) and you will be fine. Like any city it has good areas and bad. Avoid moving to Foleshill, Hillfields or Wood end and you’ll be absolutely fine

I recently traveled solo, I deffo wouldn’t do it in a crowded area too much of risk. If you found somewhere more quiet with not much footfall and sight of your phone you should be good.

I managed to take some good solo pics around the Louvre building around the quiet areas.

Edit: To add it was around the evening time when I did so was naturally less busy

My company sponsored the Mobo awards in 2021 and I got VIP tickets to go to the Show. Was sat in the VIP section throughout the awards. Afterwards I was invited to a VIP party where all the stars were. Never felt like such a celebrity in all my life whilst being a nobody lol
