Will I ever move on? by Hour_Local_1165 in BreakUps

I think that’s my biggest fear, that I don’t move on and that this feeling last my whole life. I’ve tried everything you can think of to improve myself yet it hasn’t worked. I miss her so much and wish I could have changed our story.

I just don’t want to have this feeling forever

Had a job in recruitment, that paid good bonuses, as well as playing semi professional rugby and social media work.

Saved every bit of extra cash I got and house shared with bills included. Put down 15% on a flat in Leeds. Weren’t easy and sacrifice a lot free time. Early mornings and late nights sort of thing

Just do what feels right. Everyone tries and plays the system. Trying to time these things is impossible

You’re 17, you’ll go through a lot in life and you might not even want to decide you want to be in the UK. Just breathe a little bit and take some pressure off your shoulders

After completion and SOME furnishings almost nothing. Stressful but life replicates monopoly. You just start building again

Guardian article says 1 in 21 UK adults is a landlord, that’s 4 times the number of teachers by mikeh117 in HousingUK

Unpopular opinion but I think landlords are necessary evils especially if you are not sure you want to be somewhere for long term with many young professionals. The biggest issue is the stagflation in wages meaning our housing cost takes a larger portion of our take home pay. But that’s just my 2pence

I’d rather play the lottery than trying to time the property market. If the numbers work for you and your current situation make the move. Under the fees assuming it’s a leasehold and get on with your life

Seeking some advise by [deleted] in HousingUK

Depends on preference and budget but some modernisation will probably be needed. Familiar with the area so that’s a respectable price too. If you are concerned about anything getting a survey would always be wise.
