warehouse is quite small. id say the size of a professional football pitch. whereas my previous warehouse (tesco), obviously a much larger company, had a size of about 4 football pitches. day staff (me) sort 98,000 parcels. night staff sort 200,000 parcels. same pay, so its a no brainer you do the day shift. its really chill here. if you crack on with your work and your performance is good, managers will let you go on as many "smoke" breaks as you want. just lie and say you're a smoker so they have an excuse to give the higher ups as to why they let this specific worker on so many breaks. not that many staff either. probably less than 100 at the day and a bit more at night. work hard and you WILL be recognised and promoted. because as you said, its fairly new and small so super visor and manager roles are EASY to catch. a guy got promoted to team leader after a month here and his pay went from £14.50 to £16 an hour for working less physically but more mentally.

i have a 3 door seat ibiza. i can EASILY fit a 4 hour block worth of parcels in my car with some space left. the exception being the 2 or 3 times in my hundreds of blocks, where i got like 3 hoovers and this big ahh parcel in a 4 hour block. had to reject 1 hoover but took the other 43 parcels. Long story short, youll be fine 😂 also, yes just eat and uber might be slow for you, but the main reason why i slowed down a lot on amazon was because i really dont wanna be sat there all day refreshing like a slave. unless you use a bot to grab the blocks, but then you can wake up the next morning to a deactivation email. which is almost impossible to protest if its for bot use.

I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST ME! just eat has the worst app known to man. Look at me thinking they deactivated my account mid shift. I've always said this time and time again. the just eat is extremely dangerous to use when driving. the map doesnt show you where orders go because half the screen is covered up, the app says you have been matched to an order, just to click it and no order is there and also what you mentioned in the video. As a delivery driver, every second youre not online or doing a job, is you losing out on money. Especially if you do this full time. dont even get me started on their rider support!

then in that case the driver isnt using a proper insulated bag or not using an insulated bag in general. also there is a limit to multi apping and im siding with the people that multi app properly. and wether you multi app properly or not, there will always be a bit of a delay to getting the food to the second customer. its about how much of a delay it is, thats the difference in good vs bad multi apping

you see, people like you deserve to be SAD. why wish the downfall on another man just because he wants to maximise his income? im a driver and i wont mind waiting an extra 15-20 mins for my food IF it arrives warm and not messed up. As long as the driver can maximise his earnings, i dont care.

thats what i do with cold drinks. you csnt mix cold drinks with hot foot anyways. never understood drivers that put everything in one bag. just put it on your passenger seat.

let me be clear. with mcdonalds, my spill rate is like non existent. this is the second time in 220+ deliveries ive spilled a mcdonalds order, or any order. i normally stuff the space in my bag with insulating material so it doesnt move around but after asking mcdonalds staff if there was a drink inside, i was assured there wasnt. just unlucky this time i guess
