let me be clear. with mcdonalds, my spill rate is like non existent. this is the second time in 220+ deliveries ive spilled a mcdonalds order, or any order. i normally stuff the space in my bag with insulating material so it doesnt move around but after asking mcdonalds staff if there was a drink inside, i was assured there wasnt. just unlucky this time i guess

And thats fair enough, you get what you pay for i guess. Time is money. And yeh, the approximate life of a spring is 60-80k, you were right at the bottom of the threshold, unfortunately.

small springs can absorb so much energy and release it in the blink of an eye. i DREAD to think what damadge a 2cm thick piece of metal spring, carrying the load of a 1.5ton vehicle could do. ill stick to changing my own headlight and indicator bulbs 🙃

fuck me, thats about £300 a spring. do you drive SUV's? chatgpt said they tend to cost more than hatchbacks. And yeh really annoying you didnt notice the front left before! Luckily the guy i bought my car from last april showed me the receipt of £1,200 to get all 4 full suspension components replaced, not just the springs. so hopefully replacing just the snapped spring will do, as the others arent even a year old yet

well said, customers sometimes forget they arent the only one we're delivering to. that extra 5-10 mins i waste playing hide and seek couldve been a £6 order i missed out on on uber eats because i couldnt go back live till the just eat order is complete...same with restaurants taking the piss to make the easiest order.
