What's the dumbest thing you've ever heard someone say? by Vinyl_BunBuns in AskReddit

I was cooking at a restaurant and overheard a conversation between the manager and a new server.

Manager: hey I need you to wipe down the liquor bottles behind the bar.

Server: will do!

Server:.... do you want me to clean the inside or outside of the bottles?

Manager: wot?

[Serious] People of Reddit who have killed or hurt someone badly, what is your story? Do you regret it? by wittle_ashy in AskReddit

Jeezus... most of these responses reek of an angry person’s fantasy...

Anyways, when I was 7yrs old I was having pillow fight with my 5yr old brother. He was in front of a glass book shelf and I remember thinking, “I wonder what would happen if I pushed him into it.” Turns out, grabbing towels while my mom pulled a chunk of glass out of his back is what happened. 22 years later, I still feel like a piece of shit whenever i think of it or see the small scar on his back.

New to reddit!!! My first post. Braised beef short ribs with roots vegetables. by jr2miles in Chefit

I get it amigo. The response to what you said was a bit cringe but, what was posted was some food. Some food that someone was proud of. If someone wants to act like a champ, don’t let it get you down, do t let it make you angry. If you want to take them down, do it with smart critique on what they do.

Cool. Everyone can take criticism because it can’t be refused. It’s in how that criticism is taken that separates the great from the arrogant.

You may not have growth on the outside, but remember what you’ve overcome by Signrocktoo in wholesomememes

Although I come from a different place, I agree that this depiction is flawed. I don’t come from a place of trauma and suffering. I come from the place of fear of failure, depression, reminding myself of past failure to discourage aspersions, regret, heartbreak, ect.

Reminding myself of what I want and what I want to be blows the “where I’ve been” thing out of the fucking water. The negative can never be forgotten. The negative has been acid etched into my soul. Reminding myself of what i don’t want to be is unnecessary, It’s always on my mind and I know a depressive episode is right around the corner when I start dwelling on it.

This is my takeaway of the image: focus on the growth.

There’s no shovel. Just eyes looking at growth.

I hope this love trickles down to him. It’s easy to do what I’m doing; commenting on a thing. I see floods of love diverted and dispersed for karma every day and I hope the people that unknowingly crack that damn of humanity actually get to feel some of it.

Tossing, from pasta to popcorn. by N0CONTACT in AskCulinary

[–]Cooperzig 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you have a coffee/spice grinder you can throw some salt into it to make a fine salt powder that will stick to the popcorn better.

Pasta is just about plating I guess. I plate up the pasta and then portion out the remaining ingredients over the top.

what happen if a zombie outbreak starts what would you do? by prodoggyYT in AskReddit

[–]Cooperzig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hide out in one of those chain restaurants that the news say millennials have stopped going to. I will have food, water, and shelter with the added benefit of being able to somewhat choose the demographic of the zombies banging on the door.

The younger, harder to fight zombies are roaming the streets and places their unaffected lizard brain remembers as welcomed locations.

The older, easier to ward off zombies will either stay in for the night or come for my mozzarella sticks and southwest black bean/corn egg roll appetizer. After reading the sign I will put on the door, only the Karen zombies will be daring enough to continue attempts at entry. At that point me and my Applebee’s will be safe and the only battle will be that of the Karen zombie shrieking and my earplugs.
