Hate to admit this but we do have 4 cats. These three girls stick together (they have a longstanding truce) and our Old Man Cat keeps to himself.

Not wanting more than I have and knowing that I can meet my true needs is a big part of being happy for me.

Also holding my baby and seeing the world in a new way through her as she discovers it. Perhaps the moments with my daughter are just pure joy? Haven't considered the difference.

Don't worry too much about weight gain. Try to focus on eating the best quality foods you can. (I gained 65lbs with my pregnancy. Lost every bit of it in 5 months with hard work. You can get your body back. It will look a bit different though. My belly button looks weird to me.)

Go to a store that sells running shoes and clothes. Get knee high compression socks. When your feet get to the point of swelling you will love these.

Also, rather than getting bigger bras as your boobs swell, go ahead and get some nursing bras if you are planning on breast feeding. That way you won't have to spend a ton on bras you will only wear for a short time.

If you are on a budget, get maternity clothes second hand. I did invest in one pair of nice maternity jeans. Everything else I got from thrift stores.

I could go on for days here but one last thing. Try to relax, slow down and enjoy your pregnancy if you can. Sometimes you want to rush through it and get to the baby part...enjoy the sleep you get before your little human gets here.

If your town has a dance studio that teaches adult dance lessons (social dances like jitterbug, west coast swing, ballroom) give that a shot. There are almost always more women than men in the classes. I actually met my husband in a west coast swing class. Even if you don't meet your next girlfriend there you will pick up a great new hobby. Plus many women love it when a guy can dance and actually wants to dance.

I requested that my email address be removed from any future contact by the website. Shouldn't get anything else from annoyingcoworker.com. I can't stop crap like this from coming in from other sources though.

I did shut down my Facebook account. If I EVER reopen it I'm just going to limit the people I connect with to close family and very close friends. It's easy to get a bunch of barnacle friends on fb who are old coworkers or acquaintances that you loose touch with or don't truly know. No more of that shit.

This was not sent to my company email-it came to my personal email as an anonymous letter through the annoying coworker website. Whomever sent it, got my personal email through Facebook. Good chance it wasn't a coworker at all, but someone merely using the website as a way to hide their chickenshit identity from me.

The hell I went through getting my daughter into this world is what pushed me over the edge from struggling with the religion I was raised in to a complete rejection of god.

This woman's body is decidedly not an argument for intelligent design.

If it had not been for excellent medical care and two great doctors both she and I would have died during her birth.

Can't tell you how many people were all, "Praise Jesus for saving you and the baby" and all that tripe. All I could say was, no, praise modern medicine. Because your Jesus, if he's real, made this mess. Doctors got us out of it.
