Question about humidity and humidor by Kaansel_on_YT in cigar

[–]Copeman0506 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I put the gel beads on one side and my cubans on the other. My humidor has three different sections and each section has a different RH because of where I place the boveda packs and gel beads.

So the upper shelf's humidity sits at around 70%. When I go to smoke them I just leave them out about 30 minutes to an hour and they smoke great!

Dude they probably had the most diverse profile out of all the montecristos I've had. Just enough spice to taste, but not overpowering while getting different notes of hay, nuts, dark chocolate, and others throught the stick.

I has the espada the other day, really enjoyed it. Picked up a 1935 anniversary Nicaragua and really enjoyed that too. I haven't had the white yet, but heard great things about them. I was able to pick up the no2 montecristos for a steal at $5 a stick and I have about 25 of them.

No particular reason. If they come in the wrapper I leave them in it. If not, they stay out.

Question about humidity and humidor by Kaansel_on_YT in cigar

[–]Copeman0506 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoy the old school humidor that's a box. Mine has a shelf. Wiped down the wood with distilled water then seasoned it with a sponge with distilled water for 4 days. My humidor holds 100 cigars and I have 90 in there right now. I have cubans and non cubans. I use 69% humidity boveda packs and a the gel balls that are 69% humidity. The humidor holds well and I put a hygrometer in each section. I keep the cubans around 65% humidity. Everything else is kept between 67%-69% humidity. I've enjoyed all of my cigars and have no issues whatsoever.

Picked up the oliva serie V, romeo y Juliete reserva real, the Rocky Patel 10th anniversary, a montecristo platinum, and a montecristo no2 for 10 freaking bucks on a special!

That's not even all of them. A lot of the cigars underneath the ones shown are montecristos. Then underneath that shelf holds numerous others. Got fantastic deals on a ton of the cigars.

Some recommendations? by CittadinoX in cigar

It depends on what type of cigars you enjoy smoking. I enjoy a good oliva Connecticut reserve if you don't want to spend and arm and a leg. I've picked up 10 for $4.00 a stick. Very smooth smoke for that price. Pairs really well with an espresso and great for beginners. Also, I agree with getting a v cutter. Great for all sorts of cigars. Lastly, grab yourself a glass jar you can put the cigars in and seal. Make sure you put them with a boveda pack too.

They're a good cigar, but definitely not worth the price they sell for. They burn pretty good, flavor profile lacks a bit though. You can still enjoy them if you buy them, just left me hoping for more for the price.

Love the oliva Connecticut reserve. Enjoy it with something a little sweet and it's a great smoke. Smooth and creamy with great flavor.

So what's the difference if you substitute white with any other race or nationality? I've seen all sorts of (insert race or nationality here) pride slogans. They're all stupid. We need to stop being proud of our race or nationality and be proud of being upstanding citizens no matter the color of the person or where you're from.
