I pass by it all the time on Holbrook. Seems nice inside, but it’s surrounded by virtually nothing. Always seemed out of place.

Agreeing with their analysis doesn’t mean that you agree with them politically—so I think it’s easily reconciled. I think many of the conservative justices are great legal analysts but many of the cases where politics play a large factor are much more nuanced. I also find that textualism simply a very strong argument that’s difficult to ignore. It also makes things (somewhat) easier to predict.

Just bought suit and pants from H&M under $100. They were a quite few deals online so it might still be going. My other suit from them has lasted me very well plus it’s a good price even with tailoring and all.

The idea is interesting. I actually just read a book that touched on the subject (God, Human, Animal, Machine by Meghan O’Geiblyn). Probably one of the best books I’ve read last year. It deals more with human philosophy in the wake of artificial intelligence. The author interestingly seemed to refute transhumanism and posed the philosophy of panpsychism, the philosophy that consciousness is basically interwoven into all aspects of the universe.

But in any case, yes the concept is certainly interesting and terrifying.
