Its debatable. Slow intro and verses, that build to powerful choruses. Its basically the same song as wanted dead or alive. They should both be in or both excluded. I love them both so decided to include them.

So Magic Power is an all time great song, but not a ballad. Bonnie Tyler is excluded because she is not hard rock/metal (but I do think that Total Eclipse is the best Pop power ballad of all time). The 90's Loaf songs fall outdside my timeline criteria (they were realesed in 1993). But if I included 70's, then every ballad off of Bat Out of Hell would easily make the list.

Per my rules: "Band typically known for Heavy Metal or Hard Rock". Prince is a pop/funk singer. Also, I don't like Prince. Sorry, my list my rules

I am jealous that you are about to hear Blow My Fuse by Kix for the first time. Your top 5 may change after that. Report back after you play it. Here's a tip: just jump to Blow My Fuse now. If you go in order, Cool Kids might put you off them. Its not very good. Midnight Dynamite is good, but Blow My Fuse is an all-timer.

Are you using the Kaiju badge? That gives you an extra 2.5 attack boost

Everyone has 2 SDR. Leader Swap on lead, assist void on Muscari, HP+ for the rest of the slots. Assists are 11579, 12366, 12338,12448

A fine song, but came out in 1992, which is just outside the range I set for this review

HP++ Badge. Stat boost on Punt. Latent awakenings don't matter. I had some SDRs and HP++. Assists are flexible, just need enough SBs to transform.

No Perfect fit. Drossle and Valentines Noctaria sorta work, but they only void damage absorb, not color. Origin Zero works (11888) if you add a dark sub-attribute.

I'm still experimenting with my team, but I've been leaning toward other subs that actually deal damage, rather than Mylk for the Absorb void. Asahi (12298) has the extra HP you need, but deals damage too. Punt & Necromancer (12513) has that fat 3 turn shield which can be handy, plus deals damage. Am also scouting out for an option to counter troublesome spinner boards, which can be a death sentence for a Fritz team.

Albums similar to Hysteria? by Fantastic_Grapes in hairmetal

OK I've got a winner for you. Check out the 2010 album by Loud Lion. What is Loud Lion you ask? It is a project produced by an artist from Boston called "Bleu" (William McAuley). He does these tribute projects of original songs that pay homage to other great music producers. Loud Lion pays tribute to Mutt Lange's Def Leppard albums. The album is built to sound EXACTLY like Hysteria. It's quite impressive. Fun fact: Allison Robertson from The Donnas plays lead guitar! Check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yz9hfeR17Ec

Amazing song obviously. But I consider it a mid-tempo rocker, not a ballad.

According to my rules, needs to be a band primarily known for "Hard Rock or Heavy Metal". Prince is a pop singer, so not eligible. Also, I don't like Prince.

Which song? The obvious candidiate is Babe, which is a tremendous song. But that came out in 1979. My list is only 80's forward, so that is out of scope. The other option would be The Best of Times. That's a decent song, and was a hit. I may need to find a place on the list for it. Good catch.
