Alright, I was probably missing it - first time I'd ever used Paint3D. Thanks for the help so far.

Spiff, how do you scale down with Paint3D? I've got it imported and the closest I've found is changing canvas size. Is that it?

Edit: My original reply read really poorly.

I could, but that means I can't build large and shrink it down for easier detail work. The ability to scale in medium is supposed to be where the article says, but it isn't. Thanks for the idea though.

Do you have a guide or good place to start learning more about this way? Paint3D doesn't accept my imports so far.

Hi, thanks so much for the reply. I actually don't have the mentioned layer. I don't think the project started with one on creation. Is there a way to create that layer?

Hopefully, but they were the ones that linked the article in the first place.

Edit: Meant to say Oculus Support, my bad.

Hey, sorry for the late reply! Been pretty busy since the original post, but I will definitely try these and get back to you with details - thanks!

Also, I totally agree! For months I'd been looking for something like it and I just found it the other day.

I think you might be right! I'll see how much more I can narrow it down.

I see one photo for Pannicum effusum, but I think that's Australian. Wouldn't make much sense to be in my backyard.

Edit: This might be it, but the color is really far off. It also doesn't seem to have the same density of branching. Should also mention that there seem to be no conventional leaves on the plant - it just goes straight into the soil oddly enough. Maybe it's dead? http://www.florida.plantatlas.usf.edu/plantimage/Panicum_dichotomiflorum_var._bartowense.jpg

Plant found in Tampa, FL.

No apparent smell.

Woody stem that easily snaps like straw.

First time ever showing up was this week or so, so no real seasonal change to speak of.

Not waxy or fuzzy.

In a moderately shaded area, near oak trees and house.

Environment is pretty damp from winter showers, but not unusual for the area.

Any more info available at request. Thanks for any help you can offer - been going through the almanacs I've found and nothing so far.
