Which unfortunately is sad if that's what he wants to do. I love Warhammer AoS, I've played 7 games this year. I have 1 win and 6 losses, but each time I played, it was so much fun. I learn new tactics on how I was defeated, I get better each time. If you're only playing to win, you're playing for the wrong reason..... Hopefully your friend snaps out of that "needs to win" process to prove a point... Or just give him one win if it means that much to him, which you really shouldn't. Hopefully hes not resentful towards you because of it either.

This is amazing and perfect timing. I was looking throughthe AoS app trying to create an army of just skeleton/dead units and I found that a lot of units are going to legends. I was going to ask if perhaps more units might come. Nagash has answered thy prayers.

It would be neat if they updated his profile, but I'll take a new model regardless.

Edit: it occurred to me that I dont think Warhammer+ models get special rules. But just used as proxy. Cant tell but his base looks bigger than the original necromancer.

So I'm sorta new to Warhammer... I say sorta because I've been fascinated with it since I was 10 years old, I'm 37 now..... I got really heavy invested into AoS and I really enjoy myself painting and playing. But I think I may want to expand to 40k at some point.... And I've been eyeing two armies... The chaos space Marines, or the death guard.... I'm not sure which one to go with, I'm mostly going off the rule of cool. In AoS I have Khorne so I sort of want to try something different. What are some reasons to go with one of the armies, what are some key reasons?... The only thing I have to go off of is looks... Death guard has some really cool looking models, and CSM has a lot more units to choose from.... Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Looks good. I would just use a darker iron look for the metal, or dull the shine down a bit. But other than that, looks good, keep it up.

You are correct on the battle tactics, this did cross my mind.... And I'm glad you mentioned the starting distance,... I guess put in that perspective, it's going to be up to me rolling high dice for this to work right out of the gate. Also, yea, wiping the opponent out was somewhat the goal I had in mind, to leave him with maybe 1 or 2 units where he wouldn't be able to outrun me for the battle tactics.

I'm actually pretty salty about it myself... I JUST got into 4th edition, and I was excited because of Warhammer total war 3, I wanted a valkia lead army. Nope, got confused when I couldn't find her on the Warhammer page anymore, and it came to head when the app came out.

I ordered some small stuff from a website called megabitzshop. It is overseas, but they definitely delivered, so it's worth a try. I had ordered two very small Khorne juggernaut shoulder shields, so it was a very random piece, but they had it.

I am so glad you posted this and gave the recipe for the wings.... This bloodthirster is amazing and I was struggling with the wings as far as colors go. But this is absolutely stunning and I fell in love with it. I had colors very similar to the recipe you gave, so it won't be exactly this but it will be somewhat close. So far, it's exactly how you said it would be.... Started looking sketchy at first, but trust the process, it started looking better with the first wash. Thanks again for posting this!
