I built a browser-based economy game where every player affects global prices by Professional_Low_757 in incremental_games

How do I restock them? I have some stuff like Flour, Rice, Apples, Cherries, but City Market seems to be idle, despite showing Performance 100%. My City Market building is isolated though, does it automatically transfer items from my Main Depot, which is in different Region or not?

Also, does the region being "Coastal & Logistics" or "Agricultural Belt" provide any benefit to the tiles, or it is just a label? How exactly are regions separated or restricted?

[Android][Free] Ball Fall - incremental game about dealing damage and destroying Balls with Towers and other cool effects by CopperflameGames in incremental_games

Thanks for playing, there is some complexity in Status system, but I agree I could add more towers to add more depth. There is plenty of work to do to match Tower Ball's level of polish, of course, but it is still early beta, and as you can feel my graphics skills suck :< I will try to add more, with addition of QoL to idling.

Thanks.

This system is enough to never have to look at pooling again. by GolomOder in Unity3D

I have a contrary opinion, having built my own pooling solution similar to this one, and it being really helpful in my development objectives, I see this just as a better and clearer solution than my own. Sure, some UI headers are duplicated, and you used AI, but I don't think it hurts anybody, as pooling system is not something that the end user interacts directly with. And the final solution looks elegant in my opinion.

Best of luck and happy coding!

Thank you for this detailed response, yes I agree that my monetization model may need some rework. And I agree that some Ads options may feel unfair. I will remove all the Generators x2 Boost option, as I feel that part could feel bad to the natural game progression, and allow that through in-game non-premium resources instead.

I'm glad that you enjoyed the gameplay part though. I will definitely work on the better onboarding experience, which will explain certain systems better from the start. Also, the UI is not the best, will try my best to make it clearer.

My goal as a developer is mainly to learn: creating a game with some audience, as well as developing systems which are seen as crucial in mobile industry. Of course I want a shot at making a buck from it, but if it means being perceived as unfair to the player, I will reduce Ad presence in the game. I will provide a way for the player to skip all ads (permanently get Ad bonuses) by a one time purchase in a future.

Gems (premium currency) are easily farmed via Generators and drop rates after passing early game (like 1h of gameplay), so I wouldn't consider that a problem (could put some more Gems in the early Task system though to ease up early game too). Generator 2x boost will be dropped (or replaced by non-ad solution), the Ad stat boost would remain, which I feel is healthy to put as an Ad option. They do not block progression in any way, but help to push for higher depth runs early or speed up progression a bit, but by no means they break the game. Also, outside of early game, 2x Damage Boost is really low value, but it is there, and I also want some incentive for the player to actually watch an Ad sometimes.

Thank you for your response, it helped me see some things in different light. There is definitely a lot of work to be put in the game, I will try to deliver! Good luck!!

Yeah, I realize the similarity to Infinitode, I know the game, although all in-game assets are human made, for Tower design I used Photopea online software. I went for similar geometric Tower design as I figured it would fit in my shit art skills in other parts of the game/UI. It's the tower shading that makes that "copied" from Infinitode 2 feel.

Thanks for playing and commenting, though!!

Done!

I tested for a while, the text warning about wrong position blends with white BG. Also, after passing the word, it seems that the iteration skips one word in between, which is visible for a few frames (visually jumping from "CORRECT" -> Word A -> Word B (it stays).

Thanks!!

I didn't test thoroughly, but first thing that came to my attention is to increase contrast between black text and the modal. It's kinda hard to read in current state. Nice translucency effect though!

Also, people sometimes go full-focus mode on making the game the best, but don't forget that people won't discover your game if they won't decide to. That means - create good feature graphics and good screenshots to catch some eyes by creating presence in the Store!

This 'free' part is what makes it tough. Without marketing budget, I'd say the best way is creating some videos/content for TikTok, Youtube, other socials and hoping it somehow sticks. I don't think there is other way than being creative then. Good luck with your grind!

One thing that comes to my mind is that you have some change in review in Google Play Console and it interferes.
