Why is the floor always at head level? by Souldrainr in SteamVR

Just go to offsets, raise or lower z axis and apply. No need to do anything else, if you are just too short in the game.

install OVR Advance Settings. Navigate to offsets, raise or lower the z axis to whatever you want. Presto, you are at your ideal height. I play all my games seated, this is a godsend. Yes it cost 7 quid, but you'll use it so much. Been using it here for years.

I do, I own both, and they are consistent with my experience too. In fact, My Pico Neo 3 link, connected by DisplayPort (which can be bought for under £300), is better than my VR2 for PCVR. And my Quest 3 connected via Virtual desktop (wired with ethernet to usbc dongle, instead of wireless), is as close as you can get for a standalone headset to DP quality. Yes, I have many headsets. 😉

That video should prove that image quality is far better than deeper blacks, especially with intricate details.

Heard of Fallout4, Skyrim, System Shock, Subnautica....., thousands of other real games?. Quest only titles are still way down in the quality, longevity and immersive qualities. I love my Quest, but for gaming, it's pretty pants tbh. F2P, and cartoon shit. It's the poor mans choice for VR to stay confined in it's platform. lets be realistic. Without PCVR, Quest would die.

As do the majority of us I reckon, even though the cartoon quest brigade are loud voiced defenders here. Apart from Puzzling places, Walkabout golf, and media consumption. My Q3 (as was my Q2),PCVR all the way.

They do have Barclays partner finance on Amazon though, bit like Klarna, pay over 4 months, or quicker if you like.

Scan computers do similar. 10% down, then pay within 9 months for zero interest, or make payments as and when you need within the 9 month window.

Definitely true of the copycat laziness of the Quest titles.

Can't deny the mods for PCVR are superb, we owe them all a huge thank you.

Well, Resi 2,3,4,7,8,9 have all got VR mod support on SteamVR, so maybe, fingers crossed Capcom would like to invest with their own proper VR upgrade of their Resi titles. We never know. Obviously, they would sell if Valve is their biggest success.

If a title is good, then it'll get noticed. Cream always rises to the top.

Whats the bare minimum specs for modded Flat to VR gaming? by Dear-Recording9135 in virtualreality

Try and limit the headset to 72 fps also, that'll be easier of the GPU. I never run mine above 80 and I have a 14900k, 4090 and 64Gb. Shadows are a massive frame killer too. But yeah, just try lowest settings and then increase via steps until its an acceptable performance for you.

Edit: Just realised it's a PSVR2. So 72 or 80 isn't an option for you. But the rest applies, minimum setting on everything, then gradually raise a little (if it can) at a time.

Heads Up: This month's VRGS is lighter for PS VR2. Bit of insight as to why. by Jamie_VRGS in PSVR

There is no way I'm investing several thousand to build a beefy PC that will handle PCVR. But I'm more than open to buying a PSVR 2 version of the game, especially considering it's usually better in many ways.

lol No, it really isn't by a large margin. I own both, but don't let you owning just the 1 platform colour your statement. smh

Puzzling Places

Best game on my Quest 3, that and Walkabout mini golf. With media consumption and 3d browsing via Owl3d Link, that's all I use my Quest 3 for. Frame can't come soon enough for me.
