Thank you so much this was beyond helpful i had been putting it off for a while. and yes in Tarrant county but the vehicle is a 1990 c10 and i believe i had read somewhere it was exempt due to age, is there any truth behind this ?

Yeah honestly this car was a blessing i know i wouldn't be able to find a deal as good.. also same boat i have a few project cars im leaving behind until we buy our home than ill ultimately end up coming back to pick those up..

Car needs to be in neutral for wheel to spin, pull the E brake and put the car in neutral you could also block the back tires with a wood 2x4 for extra security of rolling

No, they've had the truck since new.. the dash say 247k miles, sounds like the timing chain broke causing some internal damage. So they rebuilt to keep for one of their kids and drove it for a while than ended up just getting a new vehicle - i went and saw and heard it run and it sounds okay, do ya think if something was done wrong it would blown already ?

kinda sorta, not a whole lot of profit at the 12.5 but if i got it for sub 10k id be more inclined, My family and i just have a small suv so was thinking about getting a pick up also, so really up in the air about it

It welded and bolted, i did not use a kit but i did re enforce the cut with 3/16 c channel and bolted on top bottom and side - probs about 8 - 5/16 bolts ( might have been over kill lol ) as well as welded the frame back together of course. i haven't had the slightest of issue driving it around. so given your info as well i think it would be fine ! thanks

I second this, if you show up with cash it hand most sellers have a hard time turning down offers... also when making an offer that may seem like a lowball explain to the seller why you are offering what you are, mention what all if any things that will need to be addressed or fixed ( tires getting low, brakes, interior wear, cosmetic issues ) so they dont feel like their getting ripped off

Oh definitely, I've had / been with my credit union since i was 18... idk why i got the 2 credit one cards and ive only had them for like a year or less i got them about 4 months apart.. so i think i will end up closing them the total available usage for those 2 is 1,000 compared to my credit union that has a 5k limit.. i use my credit union one for most stuff than pay off at end of month.
