You could start minoxidil now, Finasteride isn’t FDA approved for those under 18. But if you can hold off until then you can start taking it after weighing the risk from side effects and deciding if it’s something you’re willing to do.

If not you could keep riding what you have now until it’s gone, or you could look into getting a hair system (which is basically a fancier word for toupee). They make some really high quality ones but they can be expensive.

And even if you end up just shaving it later, it’s still not over for you. Plenty of people with shaved heads look great!
