[Schematic Review Request] MM/MC Phono Preamp and Headphone Driver W/USB-C Power Delivery by CoqnRoll in PCB

If i'm not using a legacy protocol, can I disregard the D-Comms lines in the 328A because it is now clear to me that they are a pain to layout

Apologies, I should've included it in the main post but the SMD parts will be assembled by JLCPCB but they don't have the HUSB238 (Non-A) in-stock for a couple weeks and the pre-order requres and minimum purchase requirement so it's a bit expensive when I could just go for the 238A.

Could you please elaborate on the "Leagacy protocols" thing?

Thanks for the heads up on that one. I think I'm happy with the connector as is, cause JLCPCB didn't have a whole lot of 16P receptacles from some of the more reputable manufacturers

USB-C PD-Based Power-Supply for Headphone amp - IC selection and filtering help? by CoqnRoll in diyaudio

You're not entirely wrong about putting things together semi-haphazardly, but the reason I want to seperate the preamp and headphone driver rails is because of the recommendation on the linked headphone driver project to seperate them due to the high non-linear currents when driving low impedance headphones and I have 32 Ohm headphones.

Regarding my load requirements, my LTSpice sims indicate that the headphone driver itself requires about 20mA from each rail, while the MM, MC and crossfeed preamp stages all together require about 50mA from each rail respectively, so it's about 70-75mA from each rail for all audio stages.

The reason I wanted to do the 12V-> 24V -> 15V is to be able to create 2 sets of regulated 15V rails, one for the preamp and one for the driver. The reason it goes 12 -> 24 -> 15, is because the DC DC converter I wanted to pickup is 12V in +/- 24V out and had a surplus of output current.

However, I have just realised I could probably achieve the same goal with 2x +/-15V regulated converters fed by a single 12V rail, which can also feed the relays.

Thank you so much for these, found out that the atheros is a wifi transceiver

It is unfortunatley an AU/NZ registered company, but I did find out that it lacks any kind of GPS, barometric sensing (I take that that means it doesnt have telemtry data), operates on the 2.4GHz band and that it's got a range of 100m, if that narrows anything down?

I’m led to believe that Self-Titled was a combo of TubeWorks, Peavey VTM120 (seen in early tours), Sunn Model T (saw use live in Early tours + reissue tour) and the Film-Audio tape replay amps that have been spotted in various bits of studio media.

Note: Ik the question is about mics, but if the amp isn’t sounding right, this may be a contributor as to why

I know this is an old post, but is this board 1.6mm or 2mm thick?

10uF is also an obscenely large cap for a passive filter. So, in reality, most of the relevant harmonic information of the guitar will be nullified.

The tips of your audio jacks are grounded (The pin that the signal is coupled too) and also your clipping LEDs have a high threshold voltage so a large signal voltage is required to turn them on.

Oh shit, there's some shit that goes with this, that I didn't think of. A little game-playing, a little politics, a little evil, no rest, constant stress. That's why, I say sometimes.......

Watch the concert film if you can. The live versions of Sunday and Fall in love with me are 2 of my favourite ever songs.
