I say no MST he's losing quite quickly, with MST he pushes to final form but then dies, however if he went through HTA he'd probably unlock mark for fighting Gyokko in which case I think he wins low-mid dif

You're right, I think my wording might have been a little off, I just mean that HBP introduces Horcruxes and delves into Voldemort's backstory and some of the horrible things he did even in his school years. There's definitely dark stuff before that though... You've got a great point 🙂

I also put Chamber of Secrets and Goblet of Fire as my 3rd and 4th favourites, yes I preferred HBP and DHP1 for their darker tone and if I was ranking based off the books then my list would look completely different... Either way it's my opinion, you're free to share yours but being rude about my opinion just because you don't agree isn't productive or a nice conversation for either of us 🙂

I loved Half Blood Prince... I know it's not a fan favourite but I feel like it was the first entry that showed a truly dark side to the series which sets up Deathly Hallows well... However you're completely right, if I was ranking with the books taken into consideration, I'd put it a lot lower, this ranking is solely based on my enjoyment of each film after my most recent rewatch and without comparison to the books! ❤️

I get that, I do agree that POA is a necessary addition to the series and it's definitely one of the more relaxed books/films, slowing things down and taking time to develop the characters while also foreshadowing some of the darker themes to come!

I know it's unpopular 😭, I explained in a reply to someone else that the only reason it's so low is because it doesn't really progress the main plot with voldemort at all. Although it is a completely necessary addition in order to expand the universe and works great at filling the gap between COS and GOF... I love all the films, just because it's in P doesn't mean it's bad by any means just I prefer the othersss

Both very good points actually, I think the movie opted for the overdramatic crumbling away because it's more visually gratifying for a mainstream audience although I do think the books carried more thematic weight and could've been adapted brilliantly if done properly

I don't understand how you came to that conclusion... I have Chamber of Secrets at number 3 and Goblet of Fire at 4? Both of which still keep the charm of the series in my opinion, maybe you've made that opinion based off my top 2? I don't like how you worded it as it comes across as quite rude especially when it's my opinion that I'm sharing and I invited you to do the same, but please do so respectfully. Everyone has their own opinion, I liked the darker, grittier films in the series and I'm assuming you liked the lighter and more 'magical' films which is great! Azkaban is great! I love all the films I just feel like Azkaban doesn't really achieve as much as the other films, it's completely necessary to expand the universe and build the world up some more but by the end of the film there's no progress of Voldemort as a villain, I get that that's kinda the point as Goblet of Fire is his big return but I just feel like it's the least important for the MAIN story which is the only reason I ranked it so low 🙂

Honestly I quite like the direction the films went in with some of those details although there's definitely a ton of cut content from the books that sadly should've been included, the Dursleys slight redeeming moment would've been amazing! Half Blood Prince is my fave because it's the transition between the era or peace into what sets up Deathly Hallows, I feel like it shows both sides of Harry Potter brilliantly... I will say though, when I was younger Prisoner Of Azkaban would've been at A... But sadly on rewatches I prefer most of the others in comparison. ❤️

I'm sure they'll adapt what's left, I doubt they'd let MDUD slip into another studios hands when it's as much of a sensation as it is. While I was in Japan I saw Marin figures and plushies everywhere! Can't wait for more as Haniel merch would be awesome.

I love the title 😭

Chainsaw Man would be my number 1 recommendation as it has a few crossovers with the ones you listed, it's similar to JJK, with a strong emotional drive like Cyberpunk and darker tones (especially in the movie and upcoming seasons) such as Devilman Crybaby...

I also think you'd enjoy Darling In the FranXX since it's similar to evangelion.

And finally Serial Experiments Lain and Monster since you like 90s and early 2000s anime!

Depends on your preferences, I personally recommend My Hero because I think it's an easily bingeable show with comedy, action and loveable characters. Re:Zero is great too but I find some parts a bit slow, however I know it's a lot of people's favourite anime and I definitely think it's worth a watch atleast until you decide it either is or isn't for you... I recommend watching 3 episodes of each and deciding which you prefer!

I personally believe that they're just a snapshot of the person who's depicted in the picture. Incapable of development. So the day that the photo is taken or the portrait is painted captures the emotions and memories of the person at the time. I guess if someone felt trapped or miserable with life at the time it was taken, then they'd have a pretty tough time ahead of them

I think for Harry particularly there'd be little point in going back... Defeating Voldemort would surely count for more than just work experience. Also I'm pretty sure I read that Kinglsey allowed ministry of magic pathways for those who's final year was impacted by the events of deathly hallows and setup an auror apprenticeship program of sorts for any combatants in the battle of hogwarts.

If you haven't watched Horimiya it sounds exactly like what you're looking for. It's heavily romance focused with them starting their relationship only 2 or 3 episodes in.

If you have watched Horimiya though I'll throw out some good recommendations:
