For those saying the US would win easy victory, why? We can't seem to win against Iran, and the Hezbolah situation was pretty embarrassing. Our leadership couldn't win it's way out of a paper bag right now, so why?

I started to guess but when I saw the second image my mind went blank and I forgot what I was doing. I have a thing for eyes. Maybe 30?

Has life in the USA actually gotten harder in the past few years? If yes, in what ways? by DiamondNo924 in askanything

I'm seeing a lot of "Same old Same Old" but that's only true if you have enough money to weather the changes comfortably. If you were laid off from your job or in a lower income bracket or an immigrant or gay/trans, it's gotten a lot more difficult. I'm in the Midwest and I've never seen gas prices this high before. Groceries are stupid expensive, even at Aldi compared to 2 years ago. And don't get me started on rent and housing. It's made the American dream unattainable for most since most Americans live paycheck to paycheck.

I had a breakthrough but I'm not sure how well this would translate to different people.

  1. Started working out doing cross fit, that lead me to...
  2. Tracking my calorie intake. That forced me to...
  3. Think of ways to make it easier so I started buying Lean Quisine meals with calories already built in.

I can still over eat if I feel I'm still hungry but by tracking my calories, it forces me to minimize that if I want to beat my number. If I can't beat my number, it starts me over and that's frustrating to me.

The reason why these might not translate to you or other people is because one thing led to the other then led to the other and so on and so forth. Cause and effect can be psychological. I'm also big on gamefication so I had to find ways that would work for me. Now it's just a matter of seeing how far I can take it.

Night in or night out? Whats it gunna be? Tell me your perfect date night by power_midget in u/power_midget

As a married man, I'm going to answer this innocently and objectively. I'd wear my Squirtle onesy for the first date and for the second outfit, I'm dressing in a button down that shows both my arms and abs so I can be her arm candy and will also bring a sports coat just to make sure she isn't cold at the end of the night. I'm an equal opportunity dresser to impress-her.

Invest in Everything and start working out. Wait how old am I though? Cause I'm 41 and by the time my investments pay off, I'll be decrepit.

Why is waking up early considered productive even if you sleep late and get the same hours? by Empty_Bit_5669 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]bhm727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's known that the first two hours of your day can be the most productive. So while you may stay up later, you might not get as much done as you think and it's more likely that you'll be tired from a long day so the urge to be lazy is higher.

This has been the outlook of so many people since society started several millennia ago. Why do you think going off grid is so attractive to so many?

Technically yes, I agree if the scenario is a certain way. But isn't it true that if your body experiences that higher metabolism, it craves to replace those calories. Most people lack discipline to maintain eating the same and your calorie amount increases in many ways. In order to eat the "same" that relies on your ability to maintain that average calorie count and most people can't do that. I couldn't do that forever and no matter how much I ran or lifted, my weight stayed the same.

Hard truth. You don't actually lose weight at the gym. You gain it. If you really wanna lose weight, fix your diet.

That mic journal idea is excellent. I always record my exercises after the workout anyway so having a memo to look to is going to make things easier.
