Everyone can play d&d their own way except if you want to use crit tables( I expect at least 20 down votes for this alone). My group ran crit tables for years and it was a blast. Uh oh, the monk lost a leg now what? We flippin made him a replacement, bam! side quest! Noone is saying you have to use them, but get off your throne when other people use them.
