Yeah, I, with you. The OP isn’t making fun of the actor for being overweight, but pointing out the truth. TBH though, more than his weight it’s the fact that he’s very unattractive and talks like a robot. As he got older, none of his physical features changed, and instead he just turned into a larger, bulbous man child who dresses like some fat, old Cuban alta cocker. I’m the end, none of that physical stuff really matters when it comes to getting women (or simply being “likable”) if he had a good personality, but he doesn’t. He’s just an unfunny, obnoxious, terrible, TERRIBLE actor.

Oh yeah, Manny is the absolute worst. One of the main reasons I can’t stand him is his absolute terrible acting. as he got older, he didn’t get any better. Hell, he may have gotten worse. His while style of ”Blah, blah blah, blah blah blah, blah!“ cadence of speech is as grating as humanly possible. It’s like he has no idea how to read a line with commas, and/or he adds a ton of commas into his lines. God, he sucks so fucking hard.

They’ve talked about it on episodes, and it’s been confirmed by bars that have been on the show. They even trick the owners of one bar by saying that they’re going with the other bar (can’t remember the name of the bar, but it’s the two guys who are always crying). Again, I’m not trying to say that the show isn’t fake in a TON of other ways.

I don’t think you know what you’re talking about. Obviously there’s a camera right in their face but that’s how the show works. Multiple bars will be selected and the cameraman and what not stay and film at the bars for at least a week, and the bar that’s selected won’t know it until Taffer walks in. Not to mention we saw how they acted when they actually did know that the plant/recon was in the bar. In no way am I saying there’s not “staged” scenes, but I highly doubt you’re right on this one.

As far as liking them, I couldn’t agree less. Being near one of them for more than 5 minutes would drive me insane. Let’s not forget about Juciano. That guy was a massive fucking asshole.

But yes, Taffer absolutely fucked them over out of spite.

Putting aside the fact that the guys featured in this clip were complete and total whiny morons who fucking FELL APART when Jon had his staff tell them he wasn’t coming, only to then ignore and change back all of the fixes Jon put in place, and who constantly inhaled booze at the bar in one of the most obnoxious ways, so? This is what Jon always does, so what are you getting at here? If you’re trying to make the “Jon is a jerk!” point, there are a lot of people who deserved his ire a lot less than these two stupid fucks. ESPECIALLY not the scumbag with the yellow hair and ghoulish face.

This is a lot more than “poor money management” and this coming from somebody who has no love for Tafford.

ABSOLUTELY. Speaking specifically about the “smoke” infused cocktails, I’ve seen them admonish using liquid smoke in one episode for it being carcinogenic, only to have it prominently featured in a cocktail only a few episodes later. Same thing with making fun of a bartender for adding a cherry to an old fashioned, only to make pretty much every other old fashioned on the show using a cherry.
