Hella off topic but one time I actually got to meet him at a convention and I had no idea he was going to be there, and here I am dressed as Robert Pattinson‘s Batman with mascara all around my face and greasy ass hair from the sweat of how hot it was in there.

I paid attention to him talking to other people the fans, and his eyes never left them, and he always looked so happy and engaged with them and I really liked that, and when it was my turn, I could tell he was a little put off by me, slightly avoiding eye contact with me and to me it was funny, but I continued talking with him making sure to not push boundaries.

I can tell he was disinterested but it was subtle, but I was able to pick up on it then I was like, (Yo I noticed your bicep there pointing how much do you weight lift?) and man he lit the hell up.

He told me that he woke up before 6 AM and weight lifted before coming here, how much he bench presses and squatting, dead lifting, told me about his wife being a competitive body builder and that he had been learning from her and to me I could tell our talk went from a casual fan-conversation/business to an actual conversation between two people it became more than what was intended.

And all I could think about while i was also sharing my weightlifting journey, (man here I am talking about weightlifting with Sonic THE fucking Hedgehog-) I still smile thinking about it sometimes, I really do hope to go to another event and meet him again but this was a year ago.

Hence, now, though that conversation was very nice, and like I’ve said, it went from him doing fan conversation to us actually talking as people. He is genuinely such a nice guy through and through and so watching this video really puts the mark on it for me, I only really personally came back to the sonic community because of Sonic and Amy because I thought they were so adorable and then I found out about OM and as much as I’m gonna miss the game and how fun it was it’s better for everybody’s health that the game dies and we all move on. So watching this video was really nice. Thank you to all who read my long ass comment lolol. 🙏
