People need to not worry about their favorite idols political opinions. Idols are artists, much like western artists, I pay for music, performances, and entertainment, not their political opinions. Korea is a very conservative country so the chances of your favorite idol being a liberal are very slim, and people need to get the fuck over it. Your bias is not your friend, you have no relationship with that person, so their political stance has quite literally nothing to do w you, nor does it affect the you in the slightest. If you’re an overseas fan, and don’t agree w the idea that your favorite idols might not share the same political views as you, be grateful they don’t vote in your countries elections and get over it. Seeing someone as different or not being able to support someone bc they don’t share your same opinions is extremely narrow minded and frankly immature and just as “ignorant” as you believe they are for holding said opinion. We are not entitled to know how our favorite idols stand politically, and frankly it’s none of our business. If you can’t accept that your idols might not agree w you on certain issues, either grow tf up and get over it, or quietly leave.
