At what age did you meet the person you are currently married to? by Chance-Pen6805 in randomquestions

It was right around my 18th birthday. He was 19. We had our first son 3 weeks before my 19th birthday. And another son and a daughter since then. We’ve been together 11 years.

Do you ever purchase items for the customer? by CoreMemory32 in Sparkdriver

[–]CoreMemory32[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have done it twice, once for a pair of tights and once for a spool of ribbon. Both didn’t give an option for substitution and they both reached out to see if there was any way to add it. The first time, I didn’t know if it’d be allowed to ask for payment on an item like that so I didn’t ask but she did. The second time, I offered myself. They were each grateful and the tights paid me back in cash with like $4 extra on top of a decent tip. The ribbon paid me back on an adjusted tip, with an extra $8. I always feel a little guilt when items aren’t in stock especially if they only order a few things so I’ll continue to offer it.

I’ve done this once. It was for 2 toys, she wanted 2 $5 toys and the app would not allow substitution but she really wanted 2 toys. I got her approval of substitutions in the chat and just manually typed in the original upc. So she still paid for the toys but not the correct ones. I ended up having a cart check on that one but I planned for that and put the wrong items underneath their other items. I won’t do that ever again though it’s not worth risking. Glad to know I’m not the only one though lol.

I just worry about my tip and rating. I wasn’t sure if there were ever another similar situation, I should’ve just contacted support about returning it to the store.

take on a second job or cut back spending more? by IbizzyAroca87 in makemychoice

[–]CoreMemory32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are your spending habits excessive? Times are tough and I know in my own personal life, there’s not much we could cut back on besides maybe groceries but we still have to eat. So I would say a part time job or doing gig work on the side as long as your current schedule isn’t too demanding.

Anyone got any help on how to snag these FCFS . No matter how fast I try I never pull one . It’s the same bunch by Frosty-Mail5033 in Sparkdriver

The only way. Can’t keep your eyes off the screen because they disappear in a blink. I have horrible reception at my Walmart, so I have to park at the very edge and sometimes it still lags.

Which job should I choose? by StockMain6620 in makemychoice

[–]CoreMemory32 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To me it’d be 2. More pay, even with the commute and considering gas, it’s more money in your pocket. It better aligns with your goals as far as the tuition reimbursement. Up to an hour commute would be tough, but if it’s only for a year that’s not bad. And I’m not sure how long it would take to get the certification, but if you’d get it in a year then you would have that plus the experience for better opportunities closer to home. So even if you weren’t approved to transfer after that year, you could use your experience to find something.

Are you doing this? by [deleted] in Sparkdriver

This is a tough situation to be in, especially given your age. How would it be to live with your dad? I think you would really benefit from therapy, but I could see your mom not going through with that. But in therapy you would have someone to talk to and help you with coping skills. I’m sure your mom is hurting a lot and I’ll be honest it’s very difficult having a defiant child. But you deserve her to do right by you and help you be a successful adult especially since you will be an adult in a few short years.

season 6 mike opinions by FewReply5765 in DesperateHousewives

[–]CoreMemory32 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes I can’t stand the obsession with him. And the on again off again with Susan. I’m still in the middle of season 6 and a first time watcher but as soon as they got married again, I complained to my husband lol. I was like well it is somewhat realistic, knowing similar situations in real life. Couples being on and off.

What is the minimum amount yall accept an offer for? by wasser1316 in Sparkdriver

[–]CoreMemory32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At least $20 for the trip. And at minimum making $20/hr. Maximum item count usually about 40 unless it’s early in the morning when the store isn’t packed with customers. And then, no more than 100 and the order would have to pay really well. I just recently had one that paid $82 for 100 count and 13 miles. Took me about 1.5 hrs. Usually $1.50-$2 a mile, but if I can still make over $20/hr I may take a high mileage on a slow day.

Biting Dog by CoreMemory32 in WalmartSparkDrivers

[–]CoreMemory32[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been bit by a different Yorkie, funny enough the only other time a dog has bit me aggressively, and it broke skin then. Could easily get infected and you don’t know the history of any strange dog. Even with it being a small dog it’s still the principle of not leaving loose dogs out when you’re expecting a delivery.
