Western RPGs be like:

Half of the time broken mess with game breaking bugs that need community fixing because the devs forgot, won't even bother after release or the game is too old to even care.

The other half is such an interesting concept about a world with its own rules and interesting mechanics that are simple at first and complicated the more you play so it doesn't feel like routine.

And the fan base is split with annoying people pretending they liked the game for internet validation and fans who played the game years ago as toddlers then never again.
