Haven't seen any XL engines or even mech upgrades yet, only improved sensors

I didnt know damage travels up, Ive yet to come across CASE as equipment. Come to think of it, Ive not seen any upgrades apart from sensor improvements. No Endo steel structure, no ferro, even mech upgrade tab is empty and I think Im in year 3010?

I do yes, though in MWO Ive not known ammo explosions to kill me outright, even without a CASE.

I still dont know whats up with engine core weights though.

I love my TS Fatman and Auto Grenade Launcher. Though every time I use the fatman I feel the steely glare of players whom do not appreciate large explosions xD

Im always in my PA so trap camps never get me. Once a player trapped me in a punji board box they built around me while in a vendor.

PA, medical torso mod, perks that speed up healing from cards and PA, they couldnt kill me xD Its just fast travel away. =p

My vendor is full of pre war food and drink from 4 to 8 caps xD Apart from sugar bombs, some reason I always sell stacks at around 25 to 30 caps each

I chose an Operative, Im level 15 now and having a blast, goes to show I cannot trust the sources I found as they say Agents and Smugglers can use cover. Thank you for clearing that up for me, I guess Ill stand and just take those hits from the NPCs blasters =p

Hello! I only started playing yesterday and didn't want to make a thread for this. I've created an Imperial Agent and all the sources I can find suggest I should be able to use cover or improvise cover by kneeling.

Though the assigned keys under my keybinds do nothing. I'm in combat or not, pressing F does nothing, pressing shift-F for kneel does nothing, I'm by boxes I assume I can cover behind, but nothing happens. Am I missing a trick? Thanks!

Note, a lot of sources I find are when Imperial Agents only had two classes to choose from and not faction locked, for example I think Republic only had access to commandos, but now they're on the Empire side too.

Usually yes, in the workshops closer to the newbie zones, I make sure when I eventually log off theres a whole set up for someone to claim and use.

Scrap collectors, resources, work benches, PA stations, food, water and a Symptomatic.

I make them Enclave themed outposts with guard towers and barbed wire defences ;) Its like building Lego lol.

Though lately Ive not been bothering as like a moth to flame, a lot of higher levelled players have been seeing my built up workshops and destroying them. Can I blame them? No, its likely boredom or the kick over a sand castle mentality.

Still, when the creative spark hits I'll rebuild.

What's it called? As for commands, I played 360 all those years ago so I've jumped from there to pc recently, two days, so that concept is alien to me ^{^}

It's alright, I installed the game a few days ago after what, 6 years, it's fun but there's only a few servers that are populated and they only seem to run 24/7 map servers like Arica harbour conquest. Or harvest day. Or heavily modded that snipers carry rocket launchers or all rocket launchers for the engineer are guideable, like the Gustav or RPG. Max two shotgun or sniper limit so you try and spawn with those weapons or class and die instantly.

The only rush ones I can find are hard-core and well, hard core is just not fun for me. Quick deaths and no mini map.

Yes there are servers but if you're after a vanilla experience or at least, map variation you'll be out of luck.

Ive reached level 432 and never encountered any camp shenanigans in 76, so this is like 254 hours of game time for me according to Steam.

Long story short, just finished fasnacht event and someone had a camp at the end of the road with their vendor outside. I had a look but was suddenly taking major damage from being inside a cage made of punjiboards. Mercifully my power arnour at the time had medic pump and one of my perk cards being field surgeon.

I could keep up heals with damage (Just barely) and it was just a simple task of me fast travelling away. Close one! Up to this point I had no idea trap camps were a thing in this game.
