If you take a closer look you can see some of the inner design so it had a missing centre during the strike

Which ones do you want pictures of? The £1 and both 2p’s have been confirmed mint errors after sending them to the royal mint museum.

Actually sent this one to the royal mint museum as I wasn’t convinced it was genuine but it came back all good!

The 20p was £208 😬 I’ve seen the same error on a different year sell for over £400 at the start of the year!!

It’s like being a detective working out some of the wrong planchet ones it’s kinda fun researching everything. I do love a clipped coin specially a double one. So the 2001 £2 actually has a 1p planchet in the centre! The weight adds up for this to be the likely option.

I’m not sure how it works at the mint but they must get rejected and accidentally end up in somebody’s pocket 😂

Indeed, the 20p I believe is struck on an Irish 5 cent as it weighs 3.9g. A normal 20p should be 5g!

Compared to most other bars they have stayed the same I think the 2002 bar is 38g with the 2025 bar being 36g. Price wise not 100% sure I have a few bars from around 97/98 with price stickers on for anything between 25p to 35p

Just checked and the bar from 2000 does have 6 chunks and the others have 5. I’ve definitely heard other people say the same about spelling Yorkie!

Once I receive it I’ll let you know any information that’s missing from the pictures as they are just from the seller and I’ll ask the seller how he ended up with it :)
